decompdex

Terms

Last updated: 26 October 2026

By using decompdex you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or post.

The catalog

decompdex is a metadata catalog. We do not host, link to, or distribute ROMs, game assets, keys, BIOS files, or game files. You need your own copy of a game. Project links point to their own repositories and releases.

Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure. One person should use one account. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used for spam, vote manipulation, harassment, or unlawful activity.

Scores and comments

Only score a build you have reason to believe you can assess. One score per account per build. Comments must be on-topic and civil. Do not post personal information, threats, hate, sexual content, illegal material, or instructions for obtaining copyrighted game files. We may hide or remove content and may limit posting.

Your content

You keep ownership of your comments. You grant decompdex a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, display, and moderate them on the service. You confirm you have the right to post them.

Copyright and takedowns

See the DMCA page. We respond to valid notices about content hosted on the site. Project repositories are controlled by their authors.

Availability

The site and data are provided as-is, without warranties. Projects change, repositories disappear, and scores are opinions, not guarantees that a build runs. We may change or remove parts of the service.
